Students are identified and being trained in different Games & Sports through regular games priods and inter house tournaments and will participate in regional/national meet 2010 in the games of atheletics , kho-kho, cricket,judo and skating.
BRIEF REPORT ON SPORTS DAY 2009-10 KENDRIYA VIDYALAY. BERHAMPUR
Kendriya Vidyalaya Berhampur organized Annual Sports Day on 30th Oct 2009 on the school ground. Sri B.K.Nayak , ITS, GM, BSNL Berhampur & Chairman’s nominee VMC , Sri Shubhendra Patra IRS, Commissioner Income Tax, Berhampur, Sri Satrughna Kar, OAS, Tahasildar Berhampur and VMC member were the chief guest and guests of honour respectively. Master Sivananda Panda who had represented the Vidyalaya in the KVS National U-19 Cricket carried the torch.
Total 28 athletic events were conducted among the students in different groups. The winners were awarded prizes and certificates. Some sports events were also conducted for the guest gents and ladies and the programme was organized smoothly.
