The Vidyalaya has come of age braving all odds in various fields since its inception in 1966. As a pace-setting and trend setting institution under the Department of Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India, this Vidyalaya has updated itself to be a beacon blaze to face and guide the juggemauts of Commercialization of education which is the by-product of this digital era. The Vidylaya is situated in the serene atmosphere of its sprawling Campus at Ambapua, 7 kms. from Berhampur. The new reform polices adopted by Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan has given a new lease of life to Kendriya Vidyalaya and today its mosaic has the hues of human values, academic excellence,career guidance, better infrastructural facilities, a disciplined, transparent and trust-worthy administration and it is no wonder that today it proclaims to be a much sought- after institution.
